It isn't something like transgender but it is a mental condition. People who identify as such usually have built up self hate.

I don't understand how you could feel like a different race. Like, you might appreciate the culture more or fit in with people of that particular race but...

The science of transgender vs. transracial doesn't matter in the real world. Once enough people decide they are transracial, it will be a thing.

I don't think transethnic is a real thing. I can understand how someone might feel like they're a different race, but it doesn't change what they actually ARE.

However, it's possible now to make anything legal and socially accepted nowadays. Follow the formula:

1. Start talking about it on the Internet for ages, eventually people will come to your side. Say it's something you can't choose to feel, and say your life is miserable when people don't recognise you as your true race because of your appearance. There are people out there who ALWAYS side with someone they think is oppressed or a victim, so those people are easy to get on your side. Get the media on your side too, very important (but also very easy for things like this).

2. Have some TV shows with transethnic characters. Make sure the transethnic characters are really likeable and that the people watching will sympathise with their struggle. Do this for a few years and with gradually increasing frequency.

3. Have a few scandals where famous people mock/discriminate against transethnic people. Make sure those famous people get publicly ridiculed, humiliated and called racist by seemingly everybody else, make them get dropped from whatever TV shows they're on, etc. Have one of these scandals happen regularly.

3. Have a famous celebrity who lots of people like "come out" as transracial. Make sure the media report on them positively (threaten to call them racist or transphobic if they don't). After that hope more celebrities do over the coming years.

4. Have a few "normal people" get fired from their jobs for not believing being transethnic is possible. This will scare everybody else into agreeing with it because nobody else wants to lose their jobs or be called racist/transphobic (or a new term that describes hatred of transethnics)

5. Create laws to make it illegal to discriminate against transethnic people and to let people choose ethnicities which they aren't born as on legal documents

BOOM! It's legal and socially accepted (or everybody pretends to accept it because they don't want to look like a bad person, be hated by everybody, called racist/transphobic/etc, fired from their jobs and socially ostracised).

I genuinely think if I was in charge of the media I could get pedophilia socially accepted in the space of about 30 years.

As much as white people want to be minorities without being minorities, we will never allow them that.



There is NO science behind being "transracial" like there is being transgender, stop acting like they're the same.

White people are a minority where I live. There's actually been a phenomenon called "white flight" going on here where white people have been moving out the city because they don't like being a minority lol.

And that guy's point was that the science doesn't matter when it comes to things like this. Look how many companies have already accepted that there are 10+ genders, all because of some blog posts on the Internet going viral. If people can literally make up a new gender and it gets so readily accepted without them having to provide any evidence except saying "This is how I feel", then I could see transethnic being accepted one day. Should it? NO, of course not. I will be standing alongside you ridiculing those who are promoting transethnic as a real thing if it ever gains traction!

No. Enough with all these terms. There's no such thing. As you grow older, things from another race might draw your attention more and you feel closer to that environment. It doesn't mean you were born in the wrong race.
