By some due to it's ambiguous ending. The Guardian gave it five stars and many other critics have praised it. However one thing's unanimous and it's that her performance was one of the best at Cannes so far.
I think it will help her towards an Oscar nom for Ang or Woody anyway though. It's super divisive but she proves herself in carrying a film and certainly arthouse divisive gives you stronger credibility as a performer than blockbuster divisive.

Do you think she only makes these kinda movies because she wanted to build a name/acclaim knowing what she's capable of? and once she achieves it she might give a try to more mainstream movies?
For the time being, I think she's over the really mainstream stuff after how raked over the coals she was throughout the Twilight years, and then the whole Huntsman controversy over her personal life.
