Get ready to say “goodbye” to Patrick and the boys. HBO announced that it will air Looking: The Movie on Saturday, July 23 at 10pm.
A short description of the feature-length wrap up of the series was sent out in a press release by the cable outlet:
In the film, Patrick (Jonathan Groff) returns to the city for the first time in almost a year to celebrate a momentous event with his old friends. In the process, he must face the unresolved relationships he left behind and make difficult choices about what’s important to him.
If you can’t wait until July, the movie will make its world premiere at the Frameline Film Festival in San Francisco on June 26 as part of the Closing Night event.
Looking: The Movie is written by Andrew Haigh (Weekend) and Michael Lannan; Haigh also directs the film.
