Earlier today, Z100 posted an article about Azealia issuing an apology for her racist tweets last week:
Quote:
Azealia Banks is apologizing to the “world” for her racist and homophobic tweets, which resulted in her Twitter account being suspended last week. As Gossip Cop reported, Banks’s account was removed from Twitter on Thursday after she attacked ZAYN, calling him a “n**ga” and “f**got” and his mother a “dirty refugee.” She was also dropped as a performer at an upcoming London music festival. Now, Banks claims she’s sorry for her “unacceptable” behavior.
Banks’s verbal assault directed at Malik was just the latest in a string of offensive remarks she’s made on Twitter. Other celebrity targets of the singer have included Beyoncé, Nicki Minaj, Lady Gaga, Iggy Azalea, and even Sarah Palin, to name a very few. Her suspension, however, was greeted with delight. News of Banks being shut out of Twitter led to the trending topic “#AzealiaGotSuspendedParty.”
A-yo, A-yo,
I heard you ridin' with the same tall, tall tale
Tellin' em you made some
Sayin' you runnin' but you ain't goin' no where
Why you procrastinate girl?
You got a lot but you just waste all yourself
They'll forget your name soon
And won't nobody be to blame but yourself, yeah
So, all these years that she was a struggling up and coming artist, in desperate need of some airplay and exposure to have a breakthrough, they didn't acknowledge her, but now that she's a hate target, they do?
I get that Azealia screwed up and that it's her fault this is happening, but still

She's always tried to get a more urban oriented audience, Z100 has never supported artists from the genre that much. She's not losing anything, at all.
