Kalos rihmains bae. Ugh, I can't wait to play thru it again. Gives me so much life. It's actually quite nostalgic for me in some ways. Just an overall slay.

6 > 4 = 3 > 2 > 1 > 5 for me. I'm sorry, but I see absolutely nothing in Gen V and we never left Unova. 3, 4, and 6 had better story lines, multiple regions (up to three in the main series for Gen 4), better graphic design and depiction, and overall were a better experience. Say what you will about Kalos, but ORAS sealed Gen 6 as being pretty damn amazing. Same with the remakes in Gen 4 (though I loved DPPt as well and probably logged more hours between Diamond and Platinum than any other games).

I mean, I don't really understand the idea that Gen VI lacked a good story. I think the only thing Kalos lacked was a post-game; the story is as there and easy to follow as any game post-Gen II, and it has the same themes. ORAS' storyline was even better in that it didn't distract from the main point and adventure (I was pissed when BW replaced the Champion battle), and it goes into all the necessary Pokelore and fleshes out the whole thing, while establishing the new timeline idea a little more definitively.

Mess at you being pissed about them changing it up and serving something else than just end it with a champion battle. The turn of events was amazing, and people who have your opinion are the reason why the games are linear as **** and so similar to one another. If they would experiment more with the inclusion of the story and whats going on instead of just beating quick lil gyms and an elite 4, we would have amazing games.
But people stay stuck to their mentality that "beauty" is what matters most. Graphics and beautiful pokemon, lots of them.
