If you're scared be sure to turn on the lights and have a radio or TV turned on so people know there's someone inside! Maybe that will make you feel better.
Don't panic, sis. I am sure you will be okay!
Look at the bright side: you can sleep without being bothered or sing along to your favorite songs really loud!
This, don't panic sis. Everything's going to be alright, I've been there. I think it's normal to be suspicious like that.
Eh no. Currently, I live in the studio. So i'm always alone. But if I were to live in my family's home alone is kinda scary though cause it's huge and the house is filled with large windows. Kind of like this.
No but one time I thought I saw my sister through the corner of the eye when I went to check after she didn't respond to my hello she wasn't there.
Not even 1min after she walks thru the front door.
I was shook that day.
I don't mind it until it hits night time and I'm starting to hear creeks and thumps.
I have dogs which help, but one night while my mum was out. I was in my room with my dog and I heard some noise come from my mum's bedroom. It was pitch black and I couldn't see, but my imagination started playing with me, I imagined someone standing, looking back at me, so I was crapping myself.
I managed to get my dog to go into the hallway and look into the room, he ends up staring into the black room for about 10 seconds and then runs down the stairs... Once he did this, my heart stopped and I could feel a tear form in my eye, suddenly, the tear drop fell and landed on my cheek. I was so scared. I found the courage and got up from my bed, went into the hallway and turned the light on... There was nothing.
So basically, my dogs wouldn't be helpful if something had happened to me while being home alone which makes me scared.
I used to be scared of being home alone especially at night in my childhood home because we lived in the country and neighbors were far and it was just woods and darkness.. so you would hear lots of creepy noises and not know what they were or where they were coming from.
