Nicole responds to angry Andrew Lloyd Weber's comments

Nicole Scherzinger has responded to Andrew Lloyd Webber’s shade after he slammed her for supposedly leaving the Broadway production of Cats last minute in favour of returning to The X Factor.
The English composer was left ‘furious’ after news broke that she had given up the opportunity a week before rehearsals for the musical were due to start.
‘She's crazy. I’m furious because I really believe she’s the most fantastically brilliant girl and I went out on a limb to get her at the Palladium and now I look like an absolute twot with them all,’ he said. ‘Nevermind, there will be another girl on Broadway and Nicole will not get her Tony Award.’
However, Scherzy has now explained that her contract was never finalised.
‘I had every intention of doing Cats on Broadway but the contract was never finalised,’ Scherzinger said in a statement given to RadioTimes.com.
‘I am incredibly blessed to be given so many amazing opportunities, including Cats, but unfortunately we weren’t able to make it work this time around,’ she said.
‘I adore and respect Andrew, I’m so grateful for our friendship and can’t wait for the opportunity to create more magic together.’
Nicole starred in the West End revival of Cats back in 2014 with strongly positive reviews of her performance. She even garnered an Olivier Award nomination for Best Actress in a Supporting Role in a Musical for her portrayal of Grizabella.
Wait, so her she still owed on her XFactor Contract?
Or the contract for Cats wasn't on offer when she signed for XFactor and it was too late when she was re-offered the role?

They never gave a contract for Cats, and time was running out for X Factor, so she took X Factor.

She turned down X Factor weeks ago when Simon offered it to her initially because she wanted to do Cats and has been saying she wants to since 2014. Unfortunately the Cats contract was never finalized because the American producers weren't sure they wanted her. Andrew did want her, but he's not running the show. Now he's convinced she just dropped out for no reason and chose X Factor over Cats and gave the angry interview slamming her.
She's always so classy and grounded. This is why I love her. Andrew made some very insulting remarks in that interview and she could have responded with an equal disrespect. But she's above that petiness.
She has literally never beefed with anyone and always decides to take the high road and not engage in drama.
She is right in this situation. As Inverted said, she has talked about Cats for 2 years, how badly she wanted to make her Broadway debut. And she did turn down X Factor 2 weeks ago for Cats. But they never finalized her contract, so she went with X Factor. She had every right to do so. She's been in talks with the Cats producers and Andrew for MONTHS, he even send her to NY to meet some of the cast. But he was never enthusiastic about it. And many months later, they never officially offered her the role and a contract. So, of course she's not going to sit around waiting for them to do it. She made a decision that best benefited her, since the producers weren't that keen on signing her instantly.
It irritates me that most media sites didn't even post that Nicole denided the claims. What Andrew said about her was uncalled for and made her look incredibly bad and unproffesional. He comes off as very petty and bitter.
Sounds like an obviously canned PR answer to save face. Well you lost that connection girl, and the bad decisions continue.
How? She literally turned down X factor for Cats 2 weeks ago. She has talked about Cats for 2 years and how badly she wanted to do it. Andrew send her to NY to meet with the cast, they got along great. But they never officially offered her the finalized contract. What was she suppose to do? Wait for them? And what if they decided to go with someone else? Would she risk loosing a big offer like X FActor and then ending up with nothing?
I wish she could have worked it out with Cats, it's a shame she's not doing it.
Well her Broadway debut is coming sooner or later. She knows a lot of people connected to Broadway, not just Andrew.
I'm sure when the time is right, she'll make her debut and she'll take the world by storm.

This. I kind of get it now tbh. I'd do the same...

Idk what happened here but the fact that she thinks he's gonna work with her ever again is funny.
Girl, that part was obviously just typical PR. She obviously knows he's mad as hell
She never signed the finalised contract but she still knew the part was hers.
The fact that she still believes her and Andrew will work together in the future is beyond delusional. This woman

So while Andrew is publicly calling her out she's hiding behind her PR team and their statements.
Obvious she ****ed him over.

Y'all b****es need to learn how to f***ing read, go back to kindergarten.
Nicole didn't get a contract for Cats, one week before rehearsals, that's why she turned it down. It's the people at Broadway who f***ed her over. Andrew had nothing to do with the Broadway revival of Cats, he only gave Nicole a recommendation.
