No it's really hard to come out. But dating and befriending hennies depend on your internet social circle. I dated a guy whom I figured out his sexuality irl, and that's it. But the I know all the other ones from Twitter and other places.

It just makes me angry, i feel like i've been lied to for so long. All that bible stuff is bull crap. I'm mad at my parents for not researching a religion that you gave your/your kids soul to. Christianity (as with all religion) is brainwash. After i've done my own research, i found what i was looking for.

I'm more agnostic. But I know enough to leave all that other crap alone!

You know, if someone questioned me on a topic like the origins of the world, I would not be able to explain the Big Bang or any mainstream theories. I do like and accept science but I am not a scientist and, frankly, I am not too concerned about that. (Just the idea of a God making everything sounds overly simplistic and uninteresting way of looking at it).

I still say 'bless you' when someone sneezes, say 'Thank God' and I went with my parents to pray for my grandfather's death. All of this is because of culture, I was raised at a Catholic household after all. I just don't believe in Christianity. The teachings of Jesus are good, but that's about it--the Bible is an ancient text with not much relevance to our world. In my case I became disappointed even more because for most people the church is an opportunity to socialize rather than a place to look for an inner philosophy. Not a lot of people at my church do charity for instance, which allegedly the church dictates.

My one positive experience with religion was with a liberal faction of Jews. They talked about collaborating with other churches to improve the city and the female rabbi said her synagogue married LGBT folks. Maybe if I had that kind of experience I would not be so turned off by religion, who knows.
