Sorry, but I'm taking Becky's side on this one. Gaga likes quoting excerpts from the Bible but blatantly chooses to ignore many of its teachings. Christianity is not Build-a-Bear Workshop. Also, there is no scriptural basis to support the idea that Mary Magdalene was a prostitute. MM chose to follow Jesus after He cast seven demons out of her. She, like all of us, was a sinner (regardless of whether her sin was prostitution or something else), but she changed her ways and followed Christ. Meanwhile, Gaga continues to openly and unapologetically live in ways that are inconsistent with the Bible, which is not indicative of someone who is truly a Christian.

Interpreting the bible however a person wants =/= saying things that aren't true but putting it out there like it's a fact. She can live her life how she wants but in turn people can call her out on it because she's a public figure who has influence over a lot of young people.

I'm sorry? This isn't a phase. She was raised Catholic, has talked about nuns that taught her while growing up, she's always been in touch with this side of herself. She's tapping into it more lately and I think that's fantastic.
