Sis, I'm not a psychic, I don't know It could go either way. Either people will pre-order the album after hearing it, or they won't bother since they can just stream it on Apple Music. But more importantly, it honestly doesn't matter. I'd assume tons of people are interested in buying an album a week before it comes out, but don't pre-order it since they can just buy it normally a week later.

Reflection did 62K pure sales and 80K SPS in its first week.

My prediction was 85-100k pure and 115-130k SPS.
Seems like aiming for 100k SPS is the best option :/

It includes track sales (10 sales of any track on the album = 1 album unit) and streams from on-demand streaming services (Spotify, Apple Music, Tidal, etc. - 1500 streams of any track on the album = 1 album unit).

So if Work From Home is still selling ~60K a week and getting ~6M US Spotify streams by the album release week, then it alone will contribute 10K in SPS excluding Apple Music

They'll do 20K EASILY. Reflection got 18K without having a hit at the time. Not only does 7/27 have a big hit, but streaming has become way bigger since February 2015. Meghan's predicted to have 30K-40K, so I think we'll do that at the very least. She has a second song in the iTunes Top 20, but we'll have much better streaming.

I'm really really worried. 5H has a bigger fanbase though, so idk we'll see. But Meghan had a pretty big hit and a HUGE era with Title + a grammy.

I'm still maintaining my prediction: 70-85k sales + 90-110K SPS.

We'll see I really don't see how the Apple Music premiere will help either. I just see it as lost streams we could've had on the actual release week

They premiered it a week early on iTunes radio last year, so it's not a new thing they are doing.

I completely agree. I understood the advantage of that "First Play" thing they did with Reflection since that was only on iTunes for a week and then you were forced to buy the album a week later. But with the Apple Music premiere, the album will stay on Apple Music afterwards, so people have no incentive to buy the album a week later or even continue streaming it after the first few listens during the week when the streams will actually matter. It's a dumb and extremely pointless tactic, and Meghan's underperformance is concrete proof of that
