3/3 I don't really think Bad Romance is the "it". It's my least fave GaGa single.

I Gotta Feeling is my least favorite from the 3 BEP singles of 2009 but it's still awesome! It's the official clubbing anthem of last year and I love how everybody STILL goes crazy at the club when they play it <333

MGMT - Kids <3
Diamond Dave, Halo, and You Belong with Me <3
I think Bad Romance's video does SO MUCH for the song. I mean, it's amazing on it's own... if you think of the messages that could be thought of. Amazing.
Great top 13 so far... except for IGAF... I was so not big on that at all.

NG Presents: Top 30 Albums of 2009 # 10 -5!!!
NG Presents: Top 30 Albums of 2009
#10-5
My top 10 albums of 2009!
10. Little Boots - Hands
+ Best Tracks: Symmetry, Mathematics, Hearts Collide, New in Town, Remedy +
I haven't get into this album until around September and I must say "Hands" is such a great pop/dance album. "Hands" reminded me of something Kylie Minogue would do. Tracks ranging from "Symmetry" to "New in Town" are just packed with great dance tunes. Worth being in the top 10 albums for me.
09. Kelly Clarkson - All I Ever Wanted
+ Best Tracks: Already Gone, My Life Would Suck Without You, Don't Let Me Stop You, Cry, If I Can't Have You +
Kelly Clarkson went back to her mainstream pop roots with "All I Ever Wanted" and I can't deny that this is another great album from her. Yes, it might sound too bland and mainstream, but we're talking about Kelly Clarkson here. She just never disappoints. "Already Gone", "My Life Would Suck Without You", and "Don't Let Me Stop You" are the highlights from this album. Let's just make it official that every Kelly Clarkson albums will most likely ended up in my top 10.
08. The Temper Trap - Conditions
+ Best Tracks: Sweet Disposition, Love Lost, Fools, Down River, Science of Fear +
One of the most underrated albums goes to The Temper Trap's "Conditions." Every songs are just so damn good. Hemispheric differences may have given the Temper Trap room to develop their radio-friendly sound without getting pushed prematurely into the spotlight, and that's what I like about this band. "Sweet Disposition" is such an amazing track as well as "Love Lost" and "Down River." Great stuff.
07. Calvin Harris - Ready for the Weekend
+ Best Tracks: Blue, Ready for the Weekend, Stars Come Out, You Used to Hold Me, Flashback, Worst Day +
Calvin Harris is a genius. "Ready for the Weekend" is filled with great dance tracks from the beginning to the end. I was literally obsessed with the album for months. With fun tracks like, "You Used to Hold Me", "Flashback", "Ready for the Weekend" or mid-tempo tracks like "Blue", Calvin Harris has all our emotions covered. Just really an amazing album.
06. Kid Cudi - Man on the Moon: The End of Day
+ Best Tracks: Alive (Feat. Ratatat), Enter Galactic (Love Connection Part 1), Make Her Say (Feat. Kanye West & Common), Day 'N' Nite, Pursuit of Happiness (Feat. MGMT & Ratatat), Sky Might Fall +
Kid Cudi is among my favorite new artists in 2009. His long awaited debut album is what I've been waiting from the hip-hop genre. "Man on the Moon: The End of Day" is refreshing with key tracks like "Alive" and "Enter Galactic...", Kid Cudi is on his way to stardom among his peers, Kanye West, Lupe Fiasco, and Jay-Z. Watch out for Cudi.
05. Rihanna - Rated R
+ Best Tracks: Photographs (Feat. Will.I.Am), Fire Bomb, Rockstar 101, Hard (Feat. Young Jeezy), Rude Boy, Russian Roulette +
Like everyone else, I have to admit that "Rated R" is such a great pop album. I didn't like it at first listen, but after the second and third time, I was addicted. "Rated R" is not just Rihanna's post-dark time with Chris Brown. The album has more than the I-survived-domestic-abuse, but rather filled with attitude with great anthems like "Hard" and "Rockstar 101." "Photographs" is my favorite track from the album because it sounds so different from the other tracks. Rihanna's vocal stand out as she sang beautifully in the song.
Top 4 songs and top 4 albums coming soon! Please comment and stay tuned! <333

Rihanna & Cudi = two very under-rated albums.
And the three songs you mentioned for Kelly, MLWSWY, AG, and DLMSY .... the only three reasons you need to buy that album.
Bring on top 5 goodness.

NG Presents: Top 30 Albums of 2009 # 4-1!!!
NG Presents: Top 30 Albums of 2009
#4-1!
My top 10 albums of 2009!
04. Ladyhawke - Ladyhawke
+ Best Tracks: Dusk Till Dawn, Magic, Paris is Burning, Another Runaway, Back of the Van +
I was literally obsessed with Ladyhawke's self-titled debut for a while. I found out about Ladyhawke while shopping at Urban Outfitters and shazamed one of her songs. It said "Another Runaway" by Ladyhawke and from then... I was determined to download her album. What a great find because "Ladyhawke" turned out to be such a great album. Songs like "Dusk Till Dawn" and "Magic" are such catchy singles. Can't get enough of Ladyhawke.
03. The Bird and the Bee - Ray Guns are Not Just the Future
+ Best Tracks: Diamond Dave, Love Letter to Japan, Birthday, You're a Cad, Baby +
This album is such a pleasant surprise. The Bird and the Bee has this really amazing sound that I honestly loved. You can have the worst day, but once you popped in "Ray Guns are Not Just for the Future," suddenly you pace yourself. It's one of those easy listening albums that everyone should have. Songs like "Diamond Dave", "Love Letter to Japan", and "Birthday" are my favorites from the album, especially "Diamond Dave" which made my top ten songs of 2009. They're great discovery for me in 2009.
02. Lady GaGa - The Fame Monster
+ Best Tracks: Speechless, Telephone (Feat. Beyoncé), Bad Romance, Monster, So Happy I Could Die, Alejandro +
You just can't go wrong with GaGa this year. "The Fame" made my top 30 list last year, but this year GaGa and "The Fame Monster" made a huge strong jump all the to number two. What I like about "The Fame Monster" is the visual theme GaGa provide to the listeners about how one should not be fear of the monsters in life, but rather face it. Songs like "Bad Romance" and "Speechless" are two of GaGa's best songs she have ever put out. "Bad Romance" provided the catchy rah rah rah-ah-ah quote while "Speechless" gave us the soft-Queen inspired side of Lady GaGa. "Telephone" is yet another song that will dominate the charts soon, just a pop anthem.
01. Imogen Heap - Ellipse
+ Best Tracks: Wait It Out, Half Life, Canvas, Bad Body Double, First Train Home, Tidal, Earth, Swoon, Aha! +
Imogen Heap's "Ellipse" is my most anticipated album of 2009 and it did its justice. All the waiting over 3 years was so worth it because the album is amazing. I recently saw her performed live during her Ellipse tour, and Imogen is just a spectacular performer. After seeing her show, I was obsessed with "Ellipse." I think I love every songs on the album because her lyrics are just so witty. I even love "The Fire", the emotional piano instrumental break. Furthermore, Imogen has this creative way of producing her music. She'll pick up any item nearby and transform it into this great background music. It's so clever. Songs like "Wait It Out", "Half Life", and "Canvas" are just hauntingly beautiful meanwhile "Ellipse" also has fun songs like "Bad Body Double" and "Aha!" to balance it out. "Tidal" is another one of my favorites reminding me of Frou Frou's "Let Go." "First Train Home" is a great choice for the first single welcoming back Imogen Heap to the music scene. Just a great album which summarizes my top 30 albums list of 2009!
Top 4 singles of 2009 are coming your way really soon!
