I got into Umineko because of my friend, and she and more 2 guys are the only Umineko fans I knew until now. I know there's a fandom on tumblr but I didn't really bother to get in

I'm more here for a Papyrus dating simulator, although I already had a date with him in Undertale

I love Higurashi but I only watched the anime tbh, I was too lazy with the VN because I was told the anime was good enough, unlike Umineko's anime

Higurashi anime isn't really good tbh, the art is TERRIBLE and they ****ed the first season up so bad, Ryukishi forced them to make an anime only arc in the 2nd season to fix it. Anime will never get close to VNs because it's just a better medium to tell a story.

I guess I will play the VN after all, I don't think the art will bother me much since I read Umineko with the messy art at first

But its not like all animes ****ed up, Clannad and Steins Gate were amazing

Yume Miru Kusuri is a classic, I feel like most of "problematic heroines" VNs after it are just rip-offs.

I haven't played Rose Guns Days, but I will this summer. I know that some characters are references to Umineko and the setting sounds fun.

You really should play it, its actually really interactive too although it doesn't have any choices
The translation was so slow though, I totally forgot the story until they updated the sequals so I played only half of the series. I should play it from the start again

I played it first in 2013 but only a few days ago they finished to translate the final game
