Rihanna's not even selling singles. Her
stream of success is literally just that, streaming. I know it's like "the future" or w/e, but it's also the lowest (not in a bad way, just like the easiest most non-commital) form of music consumption.
And it's not like Taylor or Adele where they have streams in addition to everything else, for ol' girl, it's the ONLY thing she has going for her.
Great album, but def overrated because he planned his coming out to coincide with its release. Tacky.
