Britney got a record deal because she has a voice. She wasn't famous or anything. Lindsay got a record deal because she was already famous. We've seen this happen Many, many times. Examples, Brooke Hogan, Paris Hilton, Lindsay Lohan, Ashlee Simpson.

yeah, years before she got her record label. She was in a band 'Innocence'. She was trying to break into the industry. They just didn't give her a record deal because she was on MMC. She wasn't famous at all.

But neither were Cassie, Mandy Moore, Willa Ford, Rihanna or tons of others who got record deals solely on their looks/personality/image rather than their talent.

Britney got a record label because she had the spark and had a voice. It's kind of silly for you to say that Brit never had a good voice when there are videos of her as a child hitting high notes. Now if I remember correctly there were rumors that Christina was giving herself up for tracks.

I dont give a damn if she was. Thats her life, doesnt take away from her talent though. Its even sillier for you to keep believing that Britney got a record deal because of her "voice". Maybe she could carry a note when she was little, but whatever little voice she had was already gone when she got a record deal. She got signed because of her looks and probably her ability to dance. I doubt a record label executive listened to her audition and said 'DAMN WE GOTTA SNATCH THIS LEGENDARY VOICE OF THE CENTURY BEFORE RCA DOES!!!!"
