I though the last album was 'upbeat and energetic'. 'Rock with U" was a great song. Too bad it wasn't well promoted.

Let's hope she's back to the Janet we all know and love. I'll settle for "Rock With U"/"Luv"-eque tracks but preferably something more pop-oriented that doesn't bury her voice.

I hope it's like 'Discipline' Part II, I loved that album.

Duca, Janet is 43 and singing about first-day periods to a teen demographic will not get Janet another Hot 100 #1. Yes, it was her best track in yonks but she's wayyyyy too old for that now.

All For You / The Velvet Rope / a lil bit of Discipline would fit in! She needs electro & a more oriented pop sound! "Make Me" was cool and was #1 on a Billboard Chart!

Make Me was a great song, and I hope the album is fresh. Something new, not overtly sexual. Something with the joy of All For You, with the depth of The Velvet Rope and the funness of janet.

Make Me was too uptempo to chart mainstream, especially for radio. I'm not sure if it even got official adds. But nevertheless, it went #1. Props to Janet.

I have a feeling this album will not only chart better than Discipline, but be more consistent in terms of track-to-track delivery.

Radio doesn't play anyone over 40 At least it hit top 20 from downloads. But I think if she wanted a real hit she would need to go the Madonna route and use a younger artist for airplay and extra fanbase. That or have a truly memorable smash song as the first single like We Belong Together/Hung Up.

I'm looking forward to this era but I'm not getting my hopes up. The only thing I hope for really is an album I can listen to from beginning to end, something that's at least on par with All for You. And I think she might deliver an album very similar to that, because in the interview she says she faces her emotions and reality but tries to "keep it light." In addition, it's her first album since AFY where she doesn't have the troll working with her, so I think that could be her saving grace.

C'mon I'm ready for some new JANET!!
