I admit to being more attracted to more masculine guys, but I would never pass up on an opportunity to date someone purely on the grounds of him being "feminine," and I've been attracted to similar guys in the past. There is a marked difference between that and the regular diatribe you tend to regurgitate in these types of discussions.

Plus the fact that a lot of the internalized homophobia gay people struggle with his largely a result of the kind of culture in which they reside. In that respect their homophobia can be traced back to straight culture.

Yes this is true, the most closeted gays are the ones that deny rights to the others, just go look at third world countries like Uganda. I recall it was a gay guy who gave false statements that gays recruit children to be gays in parliament, to already homophobic people and it made the death law passed.
Equally its gay closets whom equally speak the worst stuff about fellow gays and by gays i mean bis and gays. They are both attracted to men. Equally look at gay marriage and the gays in the republican party, the cabin bunch that were against their own rights. You don't see straights doing that to each other.

Just like colourism is in many PoC communities. Just like women are taught that being promiscuous is wrong and covering up their body is right. It's something that is in the majority, it's been internalised and conditioned in minorities of all kind. This is a recurring thing in minorities. Gay people have done nothing wrong.
