Umineko is probably my favorite VN ever, it took me a while to read it all but its flawless
Episodes 4-8 are just amazing, I'm kinda sad that when I started reading it I got the old version with the crappy drawing

Currently playing through Ace Attorney, I played the first game a few years ago and forgot about it until now. The ending of the second game was so good

Umineko and Steins;Gate I swear I learned English reading the former.

I haven't played much since Angel Beats got released, though I'm excited for Steins;Gate 0 PC version and the remake of Tsukihime. Fate/Stay Night should be added since it's probably the most popular VN, but far from being the best.

I remembered about Fate/Stay Night just when I finished, so I'm gonna add it later with 3 more VN!

You can skip the anime altogether and read it as a standalone if you like Key's works. But the problem is that 6 parts were promised and only one has been released so far (1 year ago) But it has the biggest choice selection I've seen in a VN.

Yes, Umineko was my first VN, such a classic. I watched the notorious adaptation first and liked it to be honest, but everyone was bashing it and suggested the VN. I was so blown away but it that I forgot what happened in the anime. The characters were great and I still play some music from there. I kind of use the ugly art too

I've been playing the first Danganronpa but I don't have time to finish it. I was spoiled about both games years ago but it doesn't really affect my enjoyment tbh. Those third game designs are messy though.

Umineko fans shame the conclusion was a mess

I liked Umineko's ending. The manga adaptation of EP8 is better plot-wise though, we get to see Yasu's form and some insight into her feelings. The trick / truth idea was great, but the execution could've been less messy or left out since the choice system wasn't used throughout the novel anyway. .
