The only reason the writers made Killian and Emma reunite in the episode is to let fans have some sort of hope after a terribly depressing episode. Roland is an orphan, Zelena's baby was in the same room as Robin when he died, Zelena had to kill Hades (even though he definitely deserved it), and, of course, Regina lost her true love. SO many people have been invested in OQ and to have that just end is terribly depressing, so that's why they let Emma and Killian reunite, in my opinion.
In my opinion, Killian being brought back is the reason why Regina would go evil. If I was her I would think: We did ALL OF THIS because Emma wanted to have her love back, not only she did have him back, but because of that I lost MINE. And it's the second time she loses Robin because of Emma.
So that's why I think they brought him back.
I can picture Regina and Zelena teaming up on the evil side because they both lost their true love so Emma could have hers back.
Robin got the worst fate ever of all of the heroes on the show. He no longer exists meaning that Regina will never see him again especially in the afterlife. That's so scary to comprehend. I'm surprised they didn't kill Roland and baby Robin off. I mean, if he doesn't exist anymore, then, they shouldn't exist. That would be an even sadder episode, especially for Zelena losing her daughter.

i thought this too, if he "never existed" but i guess they didn't mean exactly that.
The scenes with Regina, Zelena, Hades, Robin was so intense. before i knew it so much had happened.
i didn't expect Zelena to kill Hades, she must've been conflicted and she knew what was right to do. However, i quite liked Hades as a villain, much more than Rumple nowadays, i think i would've preferred him to remain alive longer.
I think i could've accepted all that happened in the episode, even if rushed. But then it just seemed strange after the funerals and all, to make it "happier" by having Hook to come back to life for the millionth time (and at Robin's funeral infact).
I definitely expected more from this Underworld / 5b, plus the whole of season 5 has mostly been about Hook and Emma and i only just realised this

All of this is same with what im thinking
They just SHOULDNT brought Hook back , Zeus said cuz he helped defeat Hades ???
Erm excuse me ?
WIth or WITHOUT that picture , Zelena witnessed and heard Hades said/used tht crystal it will END someone & in the end the conflict will happened with or without Zelena caught Emma with the picture BECAUSE regina/robin will still be in there & Zelena will be back , the whole conflict will stil happen without the picture on Zelena hand & same thing will happen & Zelena would still know how to use it on Hades
Hook to me didnt really did anything much considered the crystal was already in Hades then Zelena hand , Hook only NOTIFIES Emma HOW to kill but it was Zelena who did it

Smh Regina and Zelena both losing the love of their lives, but Hook and Emma get to live on. Literally all hook does is whine about how he's not good enough for Emma or anyone and were supposed to feel sorry him. His charm wore off a long time ago and now I'm annoyed with all the charmings + hook.
Shouldn't Arthurs unfinished business be breaking the spell on Gwen so she can be with lancelot?
Yeah it's total hilarious they abandoned that arc.
Honestly the whole Underworld arc was underwhelming for me, and was basically a waste of time. The only reason I keep forcing myself to watch this is Regina and Zelena but it's getting harder and harder. I'll watch this season's finale and see how it end's up but I don't know if I'll give any interest in the next season if these writers keep ruining this show
Gods bringing Killian back from the dead again to Storybrooke has to be the stupidest thing that happened in this show. I was hoping they'd finally get rid of that dreadful character and something interesting could take place.
I think this last season has been kind of messy, specially the last few episodes, here is an idea of what I would've liked to watch:
After locking David in the prision cell, James joins Emma and the heroes pretending to be David. (Snow is back on Storybrook, and Emma is to worried about Hook to notice).
Rumple accepts Pan's deal and gives him a normal heart, and they both together carry Belle (who's still in her sleeping curse) through the portal (without Pandora's box).
Without Zelena's knowledge, Hades sends one of his titans to try to stop the heroes to cross the portal, but Regina and Emma join magic and defeat him, and then they all manage to cross the portal without more delays and come back safe from the underworld, James (pretending to be David) manages to be the last one to cross to the portal, and when all of the rest had crossed it and there is no one else looking, he calls Cruella to cross it too.
Back in Storybrook, Pan meets with Cruella and talks her about a plan to destroy everyone in Storybrook, including Belle, Rumple discovers them and fights Pan in a magical battle, and then kills him, but gets very badly injured. Cruella manages to run away.
When the heroes are researching for a way to defeat Hades, they go and search for Belle and find out that she is in a sleeping curse, so they go and search for her father to give her the true love's kiss, and then she wakes up.
David, still in the underworld tries to comunicate, so he teams up with Arthur to find the book, and then sends it to the heroes, Belle finds the book in the library (but doesn't know David sent it), and the heroes make a plan to break into Hades house and take it from him. While going, Snow starts noticing some strange behavior from David (James), he tells her that he is just sad because he saw his brother down on the underworld.
When Belle, James, Snow, Regina and Robin are breaking into Hades' house to rescue Robin's baby, Belle, Snow and James go for the Olympian Crystal and Regina/Robin for the baby and they agree to meet at the apartment.
After they escape, Belle tells Snow and James that she wants to go with her father first, so they all go together. While going to Belle's father, Snow keeps suspecting of David's (James) behavior, but doesn't say anything.
Rumple, still not knowing Belle has recovered from the sleeping curse, goes to Belle's father and threatens him, and as he doesn't tell him anything, he is about to start torturing him, and then Belle enters and as she watches Rumple about to hit/do something to his father, and with the Olympian Crystal in her hand, she attacks Rumple and kills him. Belle, in shock, drops the crystal, and James hurries to get it, and then Cruella joins him, and reveals that they left David in the underworld.
**** Emma, Regina helped them more than anyone else this season and yet she gets to suffer the most
Somehow she reminds me of Buffy
I can't with Emma and Hook anymore. The fact that they went all the way to the Underworld to get Hook only to have Robin Hood die is a mess. And to add insult to injury, Emma and Hook kiss right at Robin Hood's grave 5 minutes after everyone left the funeral. To be honest, the writers have put themselves in a situation where Regina seems more like the underdog hero then Emma. Though you can't compare the two characters, Regina is more likeable in my opinion. She seems much bolder, stronger, and determined. Emma has become "meh" personally. Like she doesn't do much saving, she whines a lot, and ultimately always gets her way. Regina saves everyone and still gets the **** end of the stick. She might as well go back evil again because at least everything went her way.
Anyway, RIP Robin Hood.
It's really sad to know that he leaves children behind.

I haven't found myself crying once for Emma and Killian other than when she turned him into a Dark One, maybe because this was the most powerful scene between them. However, they honestly do nothing for me. I didn't find myself fighting for them at ALL this season because it was obvious he wasn't going to be ripped out of OUAT. For one, he's been a series regular since season three, and he wasn't going to suddenly disappear in the midseason finale. I feel for Emma a little bit, but she never had tragedy with love. Sure, Neal betrayed her a little bit, but the biggest tragedy she had was with her parents. Love was obviously the next step for her, but I found myself rooting for her in finding her parents far more than rooting for her to be with Killian. I guess I appreciate the fact that she's in love now and she has a future with him, but they have NEVER been on shaky ground, or they have never acted like it. The "fight" in 5x15? I rolled my eyes. The flashback to Camelot in 5x08 when Killian dies means nothing because he's obviously still alive in the present moment. In 5x11 when he sacrifices himself, we had already known that 5B would focus on the Underworld, and basically getting Hook back. I don't really know how to put my finger on it. I adore Emma, I really do. And I know how happy she is with Killian, and that's amazing for her. I simply don't find myself rooting for them because they're never in some sort of danger.
I'm talking about them like they're real people... but I'm not finished yet.
On the other hand, the driving force in Regina is her love. Her love for Daniel, her love for revenge, her love for Henry, her love for Robin, her love for Zelena, and finally her love for her parents.... You can really see it in her eyes when she talks to those she loves. I think Emma is a little bit more immature than Regina, and you can definitely tell. Regina lost when she had love with Daniel due to so many different things, and when we find this out in season one, she's instantly humanized and relatable. I have been rooting for her for the longest time, as have so many other people, and it's devastating to see her lose in love. Of course she has done TERRIBLE things, but she finally made the conscious decision to leave all of that behind her and be a good person. With that, she finally opened up her heart to love, and that's exactly what she had. But I'm fairly certain she's going to go evil again--there's a photo floating around posted by TV Guide that has her in an EQ costume that doesn't look very familiar, but I could be wrong. I don't know. We've seen so much more of Regina's unfair past than Emma's, and that's probably what changes it for me.
On a completely separate note, I'm curious about the two actors joining the show in the finale as well as wherever Zelena, Hook, Snow, and David are going through the portal. This finale is looking VERY promising.
There are some AMAZING actors on OUAT, and I really appreciate them now. Yeah, there are some not-so-good ones, but Lana Parrilla, Robert Carlyle, and even Ginnifer Goodwin are some of the ones I can think of. Robert plays two very different characters, and Lana plays practically four different people, sometimes in the same episode. I'm watching season one again, and Snow is COMPLETELY different from Mary Margaret. (MM is pathetic in my opinion, so I love watching the sharp contrast between being pathetic and being heroic.)
Oh, and Lana is ALWAYS beautiful--she literally slays no matter what she does, like looking at her boyfriend's child whose not even hers.

Amazing sneak peek for Once Upon A Time!!! Tensions are high!
Regina Mills has become the ultimate hero and underdog to root for in this story. While many of the characters can get multiple second chances at happiness, Regina can't seem to get even one. What makes it worse is that she has attempted to do all the right things and still loses. That is not easy for anyone. I'm with her on the Hook comment. This man walked around for 300+ years being a bad guy but Robin Hood a nice man and father died instead. She is such a resilient character with so much poise and maturity I can't but continue to root that she finds her happy ending.
