There are speculations that Namie's upcoming era might be her last (due to how massive the scale of the tour is) and her 25th anniversary = retirement. If Mint is the lead single (because screw Red Carpet), then it would explain bigger investment of budget.

I'm excited for whatever happens then.

I really don't think Namie is retiring, though. She could maybe be taking a simple break (or an excruciating hiatus ) after the Tour.

She's done hall tours like this in the past though? I really doubt she's retiring.
