There is no way José that the little island we saw is the whole region. I would never buy the game if that's it. It has to be more islands, unless that's an island we leave to go to the mainland. Who knows.

I honestly like all of them, i just side with the grass one for now. But he could end up looking horrible so.

My best guess would be that

Popplio will become a Water/Fairy type, he seems to be very whimsical and elegant and has a very bright, happy-go-lucky attitude, plus he kind of looks like what a fairy typed water Pokemon would to me.

Litten would be a phenomenal Fire/Poison type, his dex description talks about the chemicals in his fur and him using the oils as combustant, oily substances can be extremely poisonous in large quantities. Plus the whole Sulfur thing in his head

Owls usually are depicted to have immense mental abilities, so a Grass/Psychic would be ideal for Rowlet.

That's just my opinion.

As for the region discussion, I feel like we'll get the 8 islands and each will have a gym. Then after that, you got speak with a character who you know and then you travel to Kalos. Perhaps by plane, perhaps by boat, perhaps through Terminus Cave? and then the E4 is actually a modified Kalos E4 - like in GSC where Bruno and Koga remained And Lorelei's secret - and then after you go to Kalos and do 8 gyms

You can see it when they show the map (the darker green). The 1 route has 3 paths and 2 of them have tall grass.
