I agree 100% on your first pick, gen 1 may have the nostalgia value, but Gen 3 imo had the best starters ever!

ice types are always late game pkmn.. and since this is anotehr exotic like hoenn region there wont be an ice gym anyway... watch repeating hoenn and having a small ass cave for all the ice pkmn...
