5H got a top five before Demi, why?
I do think Demi peaked with Skyscraper, should have been #1. But why do you think 5H managed to outpeak Demi so early on in their careers?

Peaked with Skyscraper? Not when she had several hits afterwards that were much bigger than Skyscraper.
Anyways, getting a top 5 on the Billboard Hot 100 just means you had a bigger single at a certain time with certain good sales, streams, and airplay.
Demi is, and will most probably remain, a bigger: celebrity, household name, album seller, media artist, touring figure, TV figure, social media figure, as well as the co-creator of that teen group, etc.

People like Fifth Harmony more than Demi. Demi hasn't had a hit in years, and people are over her.

So you're comparing a top-5 hit (commercial performance) with Demi's alleged "musical peak" (subjective talent performance)?
Tell me more

By the stats, Demi remains a bigger album force, touring force, household force, media force, social media force, TV force, radio consistency force, I-could-go-on-forever-force, etc. So clearly, you're just outright blatantly wrong! The general public statistically and factually prefers Demi.
But hey! At least both 5H and Demi are amazingly-talented singers.
Don't know what else could it be.

I'm comparing their best works so far! Skyscraper did feel like a top five hit though, does it not have a x4 platinum certification?

Fifth Harmony's fanatics are already being cocky about a top 5.

lol, I deleted my post like seconds later.
I was answering the OP about TOP 5 Hits, not tours, albums ets. And Demi has a longer career, so its normal for her overall stats to be bigger.

That's not even true...
Both CFTS and Confident were hits/moderate hits.
The fact that WFH is bigger doesn't mean Demi had no hits last year. What kind of logic?

Work From Home was a stronger single choice than most of Demi's singles

And now you flip-flopped back to their "best works" even though it's highly subjective and you were comparing Demi to 5H's commercial performance, as evidenced by your use of "top 5 hit".
And no, just because it "felt" like a top 5 hit, doesn't mean it is comparable. Demi has had bigger singles and the comparison in the OP is just outright flawed and embarrassing.
But then again, Demi is a bigger figure, celebrity, singer, album-seller, artist, touring-force, etc. than Fifth Harmony. So I definitely don't mind congratulating them on that one top-5 hit!
