Like the titles says do you cringe when you see a stan (or a sports fan or whatever) use the word "we" to describe someone else's achievements?

Examples: Yes, we finally reach #1 on iTunes! or We have ten top 10s on the Hot 100!!11!!


Does it seem sad that someone is living a little too much vicariously through someone else's accomplishments and lives? While true that the stan may have played a part in helping the song find success by buying it and streaming it, etc. he or she is never going to actually be the fave or actually accomplish those things.

Thoughts?
