I'm one semester away from my bachelor and I've only had 4 classes that didn't take attendance

Yes, but just a few times in high school and university. I'm paying for those classes so might as well attend.

My attendance was flawless in high school but after that it got **** and I wasn't there more often than not

A couple of times in middle school. i skipped classes here and there in high school. I think I had 21 absences in several classes. If you got 22 or more you couldn't pass. I'd skip so much during my first semester at college which I strongly regret. After I got my grades I never skipped a college class again. I've only been absent in emergency situations. So for like three semesters I didn't skip one class

Literally all the time, me and my friends would go to the most vacant stairwell and just chill lmao

My work was always done though, I would just prefer to do it all at home for some reason

I've graduated already and never had one. There were a few classes where attendance made up 5 or 10% of the mark, but it was never mandatory. Most classes didn't even have that.

Great way to get some dumb people to pay for school, and then fail/drop out while keeping their money!

In school/middle school/high school, never. Maybe once or twice at most. But now it can happen at the university since classes aren't mandatory and I'm sometimes way more productive at the library

In high school, never. I didn't even like missing school even when I was sick.

College is a different story, however

Highschool I skipped only when I was sick.
But in University, lord have mercy, there's a point in every semester where I just stop going because it's useless.

Edit: I'm literally IN SHOCK that your universities take attendance!! That's crazy, I'm graduation next term and NONE of my courses had that, not even my seminars (not that I'd skip those)!

In high school I technically skipped once but I was told it wouldn't be counted as a skip but it did. :/

In university all the time, especially in my 3rd and 4th years. I was good in my first 2 years but when I finally realized some classes just aren't worth it, I stopped going to several. I still made sure to go once in a while though just because not going at all made me kinda forget about the class and what was going on it.

See, now, what's the deal with online classes? I might want to get in on that considering I seem to have difficulty actually making it to my college classes. I've always thought online classes are convenient but kind of messy to keep up with and annoying to have to teach yourself all the material?
