Surely in Europe we have issues with racism, just like in the US. But claiming we do nothing against it and we pretend not to have any issue at all, is so false. I mean, you really should take several seats. I think that people claiming Europe is ahead of US in the battle against racism are talking non-sense, because there is really no winner in this field. BUT you are talking non-sense as well.
I have been in exchange during the last 5 months in a UK university. There was a lot of diversity and I have not witnessed to a single racial issue and there were plenty of awareness campaigns around the issue. This is not to say that UK is racism-free, but just to let you know that people take really seriously racism in here. In Europe we take racism very seriously. especially after Hitler and Nazism happened, you know. You should know better and maybe talk about things you actually know and not only about some random experience with rude tourists that happened to be european. Should I really start talking about American tourists writing their names in the Colosseum as an hobby. Yeah it really happened several times. Should I consider Americans as a whole like ignorant people? I do not.

I've been to Europe and know what I saw. I saw exactly 2 people who weren't white. I'm speaking from my experience. You're the ignorant one commenting on my European experiences like you would know.
I see how Europeans treat minorities when they come to the US.

I have to call a spade a spade.
Defending Europe against what is reality doesn't stop reality from being that Europe doesn't have diversity at the level of the US. No other country does.
The last time I was confronted with the issue of race was when I caught a Irish man going through my things at Starbucks and he proceeded to get angry at me and say all kinds of racist things when I caught him in the act. I punched him and blood started coming out of his head. He was crying to police but they weren't interested.
Europe is full of hypocrites on the issue of race. They point fingers but the truth is the holocaust happened in Europe not in the US. Europeans need to stop pretending to be high and mighty on race issues. They are the root cause of race issues that Americans face to this very day.
Get back to me when Europe has diversity out side of a select few big cities....ya know American diversity...the kind that has every type of person imaginable living in one country..
