A lot of actors don't use social media. Halle didn't even have an instagram until like a few weeks ago.

I like when they don't. I like there to be some mystery behind celebrities, I'm not a fan of this "act like your fans are your best friends" type of thing that's been going on lately

I was shocked after the Met Gala to find out that Blake Lively has nearly no social media presence. She seems like the type who'd be really popular if she was active.

JLaw would be a mess with social media. I'm glad she's against it

I noticed that most actors don't use social media, Zac Efron only used his for promotional purposes but every now and then he'll post something personal. It's part of the reason why I don't/can't "stan" for any actors/actresses they seem so pretentious and impersonal. Musicians are much more expressive and open when it comes to social media (most of them anyways) but I agree for the most part social media has turned into a platform for some.

I totally get why someone who's a celebrity would want to try and keep just a little bit of their lives just for themselves. People act so obsessed and entitled when it comes to celebs' lives.
