I tried Grindr first then Tinder and:

Tinder >>> Grindr.

So it's a yay for me! I wanna find a serious relationship or friends that's why I prefer Tinder. If you want casual sex then download Grindr.

So, girls: Some guy said he "deleted" Tinder because he just "wasn't feeling it anymore" as an excuse to why he didn't respond for like over a week. But I thought if you actually delete your profile or the app, all your data gets deleted, including your matches. And yet he stayed matched with me the entire time. Am I getting played?

No one answers on it and if they do it doesn't go very far which makes me lose interest because if you can't hold a conversation with more than one word answers, I don't need to waste my time.

I never understood why people get mad that Grindr is used for hookups.
If your company uses shirtless dudes, it's clearly not evocating a "Make friends" message

No, deleting an app is like turning off your phone.
If you delete Tinder, all of your swipes will remain the same but if he deleted it without asking for another way to talk with you then you are getting played.

I hate dating apps, i havent been on grindr in 6 months.. i just dont like the whole process of having to talk to and meet strangers who judge you off one picture.. at the same time i have an appetite that needs to be fed, i just want sex. I wish men would just drop out of the sky so i wouldnt have to go through this mess

Like, I get it, I'm not stupid, that Grindr is predominantly meant for hook-ups and that, but they aren't even subtle about it. It's just "DTF" or "Top/Bottom/Verse" or just plain grossness.

Tinder, on the other hand, still has those kinds of people, but it's much less blunt and I do like having to be matched with someone before you can message them.

What I will say is that you need to have REALLY thick skin, especially if you're a POC (like me), to download either app as I've seen so many of my friends not swipe right on POC and they're not even trying to be racist. It's just that they don't find the 30 POC that may show up as attractive

I agree with you. Gay Tinder seems to be a lot more dating-y than straight Tinder or Grindr. I held off for the longest time I've met a great guy and I hope it goes somewhere.
