For me, [Tinder] is the better of the dating apps, especially for the gays.
I went through a friends' Grindr and it's just so gross how classless and crass they all are. Like, I get it, I'm not stupid, that Grindr is predominantly meant for hook-ups and that, but they aren't even subtle about it. It's just "DTF" or "Top/Bottom/Verse" or just plain grossness.
Tinder, on the other hand, still has those kinds of people, but it's much less blunt and I do like having to be matched with someone before you can message them.
What I will say is that you need to have REALLY thick skin, especially if you're a POC (like me), to download either app as I've seen so many of my friends not swipe right on POC and they're not even trying to be racist. It's just that they don't find the 30 POC that may show up as attractive
Formerly. I've met 2/3 of my bfs on dating apps, they actually work well a lot of the time. I really don't care about dating at the moment tho and I'd rather let something come to me more naturally this time around so I deleted them all a while ago
I tried Grindr a few times but it is not my piece of cake. Everyone just wants to **** or send me nudes. Wrong app to try and have a conversation with someone.
How many matches you got? Any good ones? I matched with one guy on tinder who was gorgeous and smart and nearly everything but had the sense of humour of a dead rock (as opposed to a live rock) and even though they was pretty I just had to delete match

Tell me why I just found a guy who I thought was straight on Tinder. I met him at a bar and he was hitting on one of my straight friends who is a girl. I became friends with him on FB although I don't remember adding him as I was drunk beyond my mind that night.
I use Tinder & Grindr and none of the guys I matched on Tinder talked to me first, one even ignored me when I tried to start a convo. The people on Grindr doesn't seem to be into me that much except for one single faceless guy asking if I wanna have some fun yesterday & I was like, "sorry, gtg!"

I've set mine to Bi just in case I match with my female friends and we can kii over matching ( don't judge) and I've had quite the number of guys from high school come up for me to swipe on and I didn't know were into guys but I didn't swipe right cause they were fuggers
