Well another dude, Cockburn or something, states that what people read is reflecting their psyche/fueling and feeding a want/desire in them.

Basically, it points that popular media/reading right now has been linked to increasing a giant rise in narcissism and self-centeredness. Kinda like how we stupidly numb our brains with 'KIM CHEATED!' and adjust these messages into our own worlds, and see them as a fulfilling need. But, only for ourselves.

In my country there's always been problems with an old minset that defines collage as the only way to improve your life after high school is done, and a whole generation has been misled and sort of ruined

Also schools should promote creativity among their students, since that's the best way to find yourself (as I've come to witness throughout the years)

"FINDING YOURSELF" is sloppily catered and hyper-advertised in all kinds of ways now, and it's become the top tier way of existing for many people. It's all about you/what YOU want/click "HERE" to find yourself/ignore that and CLICK THIS for you.
