Acting offended gives you attention, and people seek attention.

Who are you to judge if someone gets offended easily or not? I swear people are SO insensitive and INCONSIDERATE these days. I can't believe we live in such a victim blaming society where people think they can freely offend other people and turn around and say "well you shouldn't have been offended". It's DISGUSTING and I can't wait for this mentality to run its course and LEAVE!!!!!

These are the kind of questions people with underdeveloped social skills ask.

ATRL is the perfect example of how freedom of speech has slowly declined in general. People get offended too easily

When it comes to political views, people use this as a mechanism of winning discussions without using logic to invalidate the arguments of other people and to shame the other person.

Example:

"I'm against excessive handing out of social welfare."
"You're so selfish, what will you do if you need it?!?"

We also live in a society where everyone wants to be the victim and refuses to take any responsibility for their actions. I find that to be a bigger problem than blaming the victim. Why is it a contest of who's the most oppressed?
