Good luck finding a Democrat who didn't change their position at least once. Even the ones who in their hearts supported it were cowards and voted against because most Americans were TERRIFIED after the 2003 Massachusetts ruling that made it the first state with same-sex marriage. That's why the flood of gay marriage bans came pouring in during the 2004 election where voters ticked YES. Conservatives also took advantage and put in more bans during 2008.

I was SO looking forward to not talking about it on the democrat side this election, but Bernie supporters won't allow that to happen because they falsely believe Bernie was a lifelong advocate for it when he only voiced support a few years before Hillary did. I'm gay. But if I did not accept the support of allies that evolved on LGBTQ issues, then I'd be a very bitter person. Move on. Especially on this issue, which was seen to be record-breaking in people that evolved on it. Denouncing that support is irresponsible.

In 2007, not only did Bernie support the dream act, he also supported an amendment that would make it possible for undocumented immigrants to receive higher education.
Wish it ended there? In '11, Bernie co-sponsored the reintroduction of the DREAM Act.
