Thru out the past year I have met a few GAYS that expressed to me they are against marriage and would vote AGAINST it on a ballot because of their religious beliefs and some were even supportive of Kim Davis but what confuses me is that they are very active in the gay scene, they date guys, club, attend prides, etc and one of them is fem and wears make up... Are they hypocrites for being against Same Sex Marriage or is their religious belief a valid reason?

i am against gay marriage but that is because i am against all marriage tbh. Marriage is outdated, Civil Unions are IN.

it's not like every wedding is religious ceremony... and lots of gay people are atheists, so yeah - being against same sex marriages is being against freedom.

Really depends, like some gays are against marriage as an institution as a whole which I can understand. But if they actively fight against same-sex marriage then yeah.

I personally would never get married - I hate the idea of it marriage. Why bother? Although saying that it should still be legal everywhere to marry whoever you damn well please because lets face it - who doesn't love a free bar, celebrations and a chance to see someone else happy
