I think he's referring to people who don't originate from the South in that statement. That's the feeling I got from it.

I mean, from what I know, if you originate from Houston, Texas, you are marinated in country. It's a part of life. Especially during the time Bey grew up. I remember an interview with Kelly where she said that the first time she visited New York was the very first time she'd been introduced to so many different types of music because she was so used to country.

I don't like the fact that Blake is criticizing people for having these sentiments against Beyonce, when he was saying the same types of things on The Voice regarding the country music genre.
