How did the wildfire get started?

It's cause it's been extremely dry and hot lately. Today it was literally 95 degrees there when it's normally only suppose to be in the low/mid 50s. It could have been sparked by as little as a cigarette thrown out a car door. There is also no real rain in the near future either. Just more 90 degree heat.

They've even put in fire bans for the rest of the province. The situation up north is very bad.

I thought this would be about Azealia Banks for some reason

This happens in Canada basically every year but usually it's in BC

This is like Slave Lake all over again, except this is much worse.

Not to this extreme it doesn't. Well yes wildfires happen every single year in BC/Alberta, they do not usually threaten large population centers this often. The last time something of this scale happened in Alberta was in Slave Lake in 2011.

According to our idiot premier this isn't a state of emergency. Apparently the evacuation of an ENTIRE city isn't a state of emergency.

As Ontarians, we always hear about Wildfires in West Canada, but this seems to be the worst I can remember.
