Discussion: Good android apps?

I just got an HTC and don't know what to download besides like Twitter and Grindr and stuff. Suggestions?

+1 if they have widgets to go along with them. I love widgets

For weather, I use Weather Timeline. I have all of my photos backup to Google Photos with unlimited storage (as long as you allow them to slightly compress the images), and I use Google Rewards to answer surveys and get store credit.

I stick within the Google ecosystem primarily. The only other apps on my phone are banking and social media apps.

Wallpaper was created using Kustom Live Wallpaper (pro app). Music widget is a random music widget I found that someone made using Kustom Widget. Icon pack is ARTo and again, the weather app is Weather Timeline.

(Also using Nova Launcher.)

I just downloaded Rewards but it's not letting me take any. How much do you get per survey?

Rewards is based off of your location activity. Usually two days after I visit some place (a restaurant, a store, etc.) I'll get a survey asking if I was at that place. Location services have to been on for this to work. How much you get varies, I've gotten up to 50 cents on a survey, and usually as little as 11 cents.
