Heartbreak on Hold had pre-album hits, but they gave up afterwards, a cheap generic side-project indeed.
Young Foolish Happy is okay I admit, but again like Echo, a dip in quality resonated with the GP. For all these examples there's an acknowledgement of bad management or declines in quality. That's still a reason why they weren't as successful.

Sexy Lady should have been a single, however for whatever reasons, Jessie and the label thought Thunder was a better idea. After that it was the whole mess of Alive being re-recorded for America but that never came to surface and Jessie ended up ending the era and recording Sweet Talker (which wasn't as good as Alive imho)
Heartbreak on Hold had one pre-album hit and that was pretty lucky to be honest, considering radio didn't play Elephant, so it was down to the few live performances. They gave up because Let It Go flopped however it's no surprise as radio blacklisted her and RCA UK gave her no promotion, there wasn't any point in releasing another single. After this, Alexandra left them.
