Gurls they broke up - it was just a PR way of making it sound easy.

I'm sure it's been that way for some years. I blamed the Larry situation at first, thinking they refrained from interaction in the public eye in order to keep the rumors and allegations at bay; but then, Harry started running off to the U.S. every chance he got (he and Louis used to spend time together all the time, vacations and all), so Harry clearly didn't want to be around them anymore, outside of work
