Bridget Kelly (Sarah Michelle Gellar) is a recovering drug addict and stripper in Wyoming. She is under the protection of FBI Agent Victor Machado (Nestor Carbonell), having agreed to testify against her employer, local crime boss Bodaway Macawi (Zahn McClarnon), whom she witnessed committing murder. Fearing that Macawi, who has already murdered several witnesses linking him to previous crimes, will also kill her, Bridget flees to New York to meet her estranged twin sister Siobhan (also played by Gellar).
Soon after Bridget's arrival in New York, Siobhan, who had kept her sister's existence secret from her family, appears to commit suicide by jumping into the ocean. Bridget then assumes Siobhan's identity and tries to fit in among Siobhan's wealthy social circle, including Siobhan's husband Andrew (Ioan Gruffudd), stepdaughter Juliet (Zoey Deutch), best friend Gemma (Tara Summers), and Gemma's husband Henry (Kristoffer Polaha) with whom Siobhan had been having an affair. The only one who knows that Bridget is passing as Siobhan is Bridget's Narcotics Anonymous sponsor Malcolm (Mike Colter). Bridget's life becomes more complicated as she discovers that her sister was hiding secrets of her own and that someone is trying to kill Siobhan as well.
The show is so perfect
The soundtrack, story, characters, everything is just perfect
I'm not saying this as a SMG fan btw
Ikr!! I got so attached to all of the characters and the show just for it to be cancelled The finale slayed me and every episode was very entertaining, never boring.
I still hold a big grudge against The CW! I'm also mad because I got 2 of my other friends into the show saying that it looked awesome and SMG was in it. They watched it and we would always talk about the episodes and they had no idea that shows get cancelled like that so I felt bad
One of my all time favorite shows!! I was so sad when this got canceled, i remember when they had the mid season break and CW kept ruining the schedule and i missed like every episode after EP 16, thank god for Netflix. SMG is the queen <3

That's the thing about it you never get bored every episode is more interesting than the previous one
Yesterday i re-watched the whole season and the finale slayed me so SO freaking hard
Harder than the first time.
Same CW ruined so many shows
90210 GG and then Ringer
This is my favorite one season show. I was gutted when this and TSC (especially after TSC massive cliffhanger) were cancelled. I don't even think the ratings were that bad so I still have no idea why they cancelled it.
This show also made me a massive SMG fan, so I can't wait for Cruel Intentions.
I loved the show, even though the writing was sloppy at times. I wouldn't necessarily fault the writers for it completely as The CW should've ordered shorter seasons given the premise of the show was a bit restrictive. It's upsetting that they gave 13-episode orders to The Carrie Diaries and The 100 a year later as Ringer could've really benefited from that.
This was the biggest mistake any TV network has made
And the fact te storyline was that good they should have at least done half a season to end it properly, I blame all the other networks for not picking it up after its cancellation
Like if a show like Cougar Town can get Canceled and picked up by another network and this doesn't
this show could have been so great, but CW messed it up big time and you can totally see by SMG's lazy acting that her heart wasn't really into it after a while (and after the ratings dropped).
the original pilot script was actually good, but the concept really wasn't meant for network TV let alone the CW that intervened a bit too much and tried to teen-up the show with that dumb wild things storyline thrown in there and messing with the balance it could have had. also, like SMG said herself: this show was meant to be a 12-episode per season kinda deal, not a 22-ep show.
anyway, nice idea, very poor execution, crappy writing and totally wasted potential. i was glad that SMG was back as i am a huge fan, but the original concept of this show really deserved better treatment. i hope cruel intentions won't suck.
