Stereotypes are just terrible, they hide the reality of each group of people. I mean each race is the same. In the U.K and many other countries, Indians do commit crime, especially the sexual kind and stealing. (The families and community hide stuff and that's why you barely get to know much, we are more concerned with stereotyping arabs,blacks and whites, we dont bother with the rest)
On the focus on top positions held by Indians, we will also find other races in top positions equally but we end up negating the good and bad sides of each kinds of people. Lest we forget the population they also hold globally. About the work ethics, its a robotic culture instilled, that a kid has to grow to just be successful but they lack social skills greatly, mostly some blame it on the culture.(some end up doing crazy stuff, due to the authoritarian stuff but we wont ever hear of it) In short heard of programming? They just cant do what they want to do. So marriage is a must, working on what brings big money or family wealth not personal(family), your whole life is planned out from the minute you were born, dictated by culture and family, who to marry, what race etc Trust me if your born in the west you cant hack most of east asian life, especially if your LGBT. Not forgetting racial issues and womens' rights(a sweeter version of Saudi Arabia, that follows you everywhere you travel to in the world, your property of your family).
The highest currencies globally are found in the middle east, i wonder how many of you admire and aspire to drop your freedom to go live there. Success is about money and freedom to do as you please.
Indians and other Asians overall are so hardworking and so committed to succeed.
