Many believe that the Earth building blocks of life are the same across the universe, but WE CAN'T justassume it is. We shouldn't base the entirety of our search upon what we see on Earth doing this basically eliminates any chance of variation or other possibility, just because WE can't breath the hostile airs of Jupiter and Venus type like Planets doesn't mean another life form can't, just because we can't drink acid or salty water found on the moons doesn't mean another life form can't..Also bacteria is life! Do you believe in life outside of Earth whether it's in the form of bacterial or extraterrestrial?
that's what i always say! just because WE need water to survive doesn't mean other life forms do
life forms could be made of things we don't know exist, with senses we can't even imagine, colors we'll never see.. where the concept of language and emotions don't even exist.. ugh this makes me go crazy
Of course. And I agree with you wholeheartedly. IDK if there's life on those planets specifically but I don't think Earth's form of life is the only form of life there is. That would be so egotistic and self important to think.

My thoughts exactly it's silly for anyone to think just because we need water and need to be in a habitable distance from the Sun than so do other Planets and Moon to possibly contain life
I agree with the OP. Water is needed for life only as we know life. There are even creatures on Earth who survive on extremely harsh conditions. Water bears (I think that's what they're called) come to mind.
That doesn't mean that there can't be a form of life similar to that of Earth's out there, the type that needs water. The proof is that we exist, basically.
I have a friend who does not believe there's life outside of Earth. So stupid. I mean, there's no guarantee, but why deny the possibility? It's definitely possible.
