She made the right choice

99% of what happens during Talent Shows (especially XFactor) is scripted or at least talked through before it airs or gets live. She was the complete opposite and basically herself during the seasons she did on the UK version, because she was not forced to play some kind of character.

Reduced? If someone like Andrew Lloyd Webber adores you, that is everything but a reduction. But something to nurture and be proud about. Nicole originally comes from the theatre, so she is just doing things that contribute to her interests.

They should perform WW, but I doubt Nicole would perform in all of them.

Broadway isn't a reduction though, especially with Andrew Lloyd Webber. In many ways it's an improvement, there's more to the music industry beyond mainstream music, there's a large market for theatre, and Nicole Scherzinger is a powerhouse vocalist, she can get prestige for doing theatre, especially classical music.

For one thing theatre and classical music fans actually buy music, piracy is limited in the classical and theatre world compared to mainstream music.

EXCUSE you. There's nothing wrong with doing musical theatre. Your fave wouldn't even get past the first audition for a Broadway show, it's insanely vocally and physically demanding.
