Capitol Records will drop her from label after this album. Do they need an "artist" who has more perfume lines, lipstics colors than albums and singles ? I dont think so.
OT: Kesha has a deal to do like 7 albums and how many Katy has to do ?
And how her contract looks like ? Of course she has rights to her songs and profits from that.
Madonna and Michael had like 40 % deals. And has she 100 % from her tours or 50 % - 70% ?
DO u think Katy will cross 100M dollars this year also ? She is nowadays commercial's w****.

You know why they signed her known as damaged goods in the industry, having a plan no other label believed in? Capitol's previous #1 album was McHammer - Please Hammer, Don't Hurt 'Em (1990) and they couldn't afford to celebrate 20 years of no having seen a proper #1 album. They had to try something radical, something no other label would dare by trying out what would happen if she does her thing. TD album went #1 just in time to celebrate for proper #1 album in 20 years.
