She has actually come out to deny the statement, so this mess was all for nothing.
What even is a true supermodel. She sounds bitter and looks and sounds dated. Gigi and Kendall may have not started their careers through the traditional modelling way like Rebecca but that doesn't take away from the fact that they are decent models who sell. Although I don't agree with the way she put out her words she isn't too far from the truth when it comes to the fact that the major reason they're models is because they were already famous and socialites.
Did she lie though ? I think you're all forgetting that Kendall and Gigi's fans/followers are still really young, they're mostly teens, why use them for a haute couture add or runway if you're not even targetting their fanbase? People who are genuinly interested in fashion know this. Designers are loosing their credibility by highiring them a.k.a what happend to Olivier R. They would bring more cash for shops like Zara, Mango, Topshop... that's where all the teens shop.
