Rihann's Anti ERA alone explicit concept album is about sex and sexuality which pushed many boundaries musically and socially, causing a great deal of backlash. It discuss very controversial and taboo topics such as the embracing of a woman's own sexuality and the exploration of sexuality, The album image/sound/lyrics is even banned in some countries. IMO Anti is much needed stepping stone in the feminist movement towards equality - men have always been open and dominating when it came to their sexuality, and for a huge star such as Rihanna to assert herself as a powerful and sexual woman - it's pushing boundaries. Ofc there is more to but that itself should be enf.
This few silly hive that always ready to discredit Rihanna need to understand thet Bey is NO BETTER then her. Rihanna is just getting started with the boundaries she's about to push.

lol I love Anti but if that's what the album was about, it certainly didn't translate, not to mention that those themes of female sexuality as a form of empowerment have been steady since the days of Madonna (and even before) and can be seen in the careers of so many other female popstars I wonder if I should even attempt to name them but to name a few, Britney, Christina, Beyoncé, PCD, Destiny's Child, Lil Kim, Nicki Minaj...
