Just wanted to tell yall that as far as I can tell, this thread is the most viewed Metacritic thread ever! The last "most viewed ever" was Self-Titled's Metacritic thread with 73,687 views accumulated over about 5 months.

Wow, can't believe it's still in the 90s. The most acclaimed artist of her generation and the next. She has to be proud.

like others have said...to me...the most impressive part is that this is all happening 20 years into her career

when we look at history...very few artists at this point in their careers were still succeeding commercially & critically. most of their best days were behind them & they were still trying to chase the fame, popularity, musical quality of their prime years. yet beyonce is still challenging herself & experiencing musical growth.

Her discography has really reached next levels since 4 was release. With every release after IASF she's done nothing but improve her art and release more critically acclaimed music. That's what's more impressive to me. 4, ST, and Lemonade have been amazing bodies of work and she's continue to build a flawless array of music. This just makes the expectations for B7 even higher.
