The members who said that 25 is a non event are indeed delusional. Forgotten, however, is debatable. When We Were Young failed to be a follow up to Hello and her third single(Send My Love?) has yet to impact the charts.

It is not delusional to think that 1989 is the bigger era especially when you take into account longevity.

People talked about the longevity when the album has already sold like 9 million in US and 17 million WW. It's like double what 1989 has sold in 2 years . Most people probably has the album so that's why it fell out of top 10 . Plus, the album doesn't have streaming points added to its points on Top 200. You girls can debate that 1989 also didn't have streaming points, however, half of its run doesn't have streaming counted towards Top 200.

Because the 1989 ERA was bigger than 25. It's not that hard to grasp.

No one is saying Taylor's album sold more.

No one is even particularly saying Taylor is a bigger force than Adele.

But the fact is, the 1989 era had longevity. For Adele, the 21 era had longevity. The 25 era does not.

I'm glad the bigger and better era is winning by a landslide, finally ATRL gets it right.

Hello is bigger than any Taylor song and 25 has outsold every single Taylor album. Taylor will never have a diamond album like Adele.

You don't know if it has longevity or not, it's still too early to say, she might release a single in the summer and have another hit. Isn't she still in the Top 5 of ITunes WW after selling 17 million albums. Taylor will never achieve the sales that Adele has, she doesn't even have a 20 million seller let alone a 30 million seller. If Adele cared about single success she would release MV but she is an albums artist

Apparently Adele filmed a new music video recently for her new single and she is dancing in it so the 25 era is not over.
