Tinashe is having some troubles with her label. The song that she used to name the album was just sold to Rihanna.

They are just stating common sense from any basic observation of Tinashe's situation with her label and this song being passed on to another artist.

people are blaming RCA way too much for all of this. Player flopped and it wasn't even creative or avant garde, it was a basic pop song. She isn't lucrative at this point so It is in RcA's prerogative to do what's best for them financially and support her however they want to. You can't say they didn't try with player, because they did try.

There isn't enough interest in Joyride to justify an album release which is totally okay. Wake up and smell the roses, she isn't happening.

Can the label really be blamed for the song going to Rihanna though? Seems more like the producers' doing.

Player was a song she did not want to do and did not want to collaborate with Chris Brown. The label set up that song and only gave her one major promo spot for it. All My Friends was a top ten hit in the UK in which her team should have sent her to the UK to promote it as it had decent reception.

The fact that she has sold out a decent amount of shows on her tour shows that there is demand for her album. There was demand for her album but hype is fading away because people have got tired of waiting for it.
