DVHS didn't take off due to how expensive they were and not really accessible to the GP.

I think the HD conversion would have taken off much sooner if that wasn't the case.

I never remember HD being out in the 90s, DVD didnt even come out until late 1996/1997 and that was only Circuit City, HD for like GP came out more along 2001-2004 ish So like it was way 2 advanced for the 90s we werent even on DVD yet lmao

DVHS was a similar quality to DVDs it was just out of reach to the GP until they found a more affordable way to mass market it. We're pretty much saying the same thing it's just that DVHS was a more expensive version of the more advanced DVD.

The early 90s was like a weird transition from the 80s to the 90s still had the poofy hair and that sort but with bicycle shorts as GP wear
