I'm not familiar with the charts since TEA/SEA but 45m streams seems low no? Pablo did 99m, albeit a full week, but didn't seem to be everywhere like this. Are they underestimating?
Pablo did 99m just on Tidal? You sure? Cause Lemonade isn't on spotify so 45m streams is huge.
Ah ok. I reread the Billboard article and figured it out. the 99m was from all streaming services. I thought it was from the Tidal exclusive period but those #s were never reported (250m streams controversy).
wait i thought pablo was a tidal exclusive until recently
When Pablo was a Tidal exclusive the numbers were never released. It wasn't until Pablo became available on all streaming services that it charted (99m streams + 28k sales)

Kanye: 250M for 10 days worldwide.
Bey: 40M for 5 days US only
Tidal remains the big question, however, as it has not yet reported any sales or streams. What’s holding up the Tidal report, and can the industry expect more Mickey Mouse-ing around given the service’s recent claim of 250m streams on Kanye West’s The Life of Pablo?

Tidal cant be trusted to give actual facts. Thats why Ill bever subscribe. Theyre too busy trying to build hype to be truthful about statistics. They spin everything.
