To those worried about "but if I buy the song, Luke will profit!!" – this is true but Luke has been and will continue to be getting money through recurrent sales of all his old hits and through new hits and his published songs since 2014. Pretty Hurts, Sugar, Locked Away, Whip It!, Work From Home and Ain't Your Mama, all had Dr. Luke's involvement as either a writer, producer or publisher.

Not buying/streaming True Colours won't stop Luke from getting paid. I'm just excited for this song.

!! True. Not streaming/buying the song out of spite for Luke is only going to hurt Kesha and Zedd more. Maybe if Sony sees she still has selling power they'll give her more freedom for the remainder of her contract.
